When a msg comes in, it "freezes" whatever I am doing in another part of the phone until I either CLOSE the msg alert box....or VIEN the message. Often when I pick up the phone I have 15-20 messages. This requires that i CLOSE 15-20 msg alert boxes before I can do anything on the phone. How can I turn this message alert box off ?2 days ago

I received an email to say there was an unexpected delay and that NOW it would be shipped sometime between Sept 2-10. I have a suggestions to improve the airport extreme. Allow it to turn off the WiFi part. Possibly on a timed schedule. That way it's one less exposure to radiation.
Also, if possible, allow it to be off if nobody is using it. I realize this might involve it "listening" for a coded transmission from my computer to tell it to "turn on" so I can access the internet. But I think13 days ago

Unverified User part5...post script: almost forgot, in addition to all of the comments below I've had to find a new car charger due to the fact that the previous model which was fine w/ my 3GS wasn't compatible w/ the 4G. I've literally spent hours purchasing & returning chargers from best buy, the Mac store (I mean come on! Your sales people aren't even sure of the product they're selling how screwy is that! To stop short of essentially ranting, again I'm sure Apple has had more than it's share (rightly so), I just want to reiterate, I loved the Apple product & have lost all confidence in the phone department. There needs to be an immediate resolution if the company cares to salvage any remaining confidence that I have. I have a 9 year old child and just too much at risk to have to rely on such a flawed device that is far from a phone. My dad suffered a heart attack and was unable to be revived and luckily while I performed cpr we had a land line to use to call 911 because AT&T (who also has huge flaws thus creating an unreliable device period) service in the neighborhood is near zero! Michael Kelley I ordered a new 32 gig wifi I pad and waited three weeks for it. When I finally got it, it was defective. It would shut off every 2 minutes. I called and enrolled in the $99.00 insurance program to get it fixed. They agreed to mail me a new one with a returned postage sticker so I could send in my old one for repair. An hour later I get on my bank account and they charged me another $767.00 for a second I pad. So until they figure out what's wrong with my old one. I have $1500.00 tied up.2 months ago

lucienr@... I would like to add something else to my last posting regarding the IPAD. I find we are locked (captive) with the applications were are allowed to install on the IPAD. For that amount of money, I would expect to be able to install any applications like the MACBOOK. We have to install too many application which should already be part of the system (e.g., PRINT command). At that price it should be like a MACBOOK. I purchased the MACPRO for $899.00 and the IPAD was $733 with tax.3 months ago

lucienr@... I have recently purchased an IPAD (in Canada). The IPAD (32G) cost me $733 can with tax. After evaluation, I have returned the product to the store for a refund. They were too many web sites that did not work properly. In many cases it was because of the lack of the FLASH support. Also, one web site did not work because of issues with SAFARI web browser. I find for $733, a small noteback can do a lot more for the money. I think this product is an expensive glorified IPODS TOUCH.3 months ago

I had intended to purchase an iMac 27" for someone who needs to use Universal Access 'zoom'; but while testing this on a floor unit a staff member interceded, she became frustrated with this standard MacOS X feature and proceeded to reboot the machine -- while glaring at me as if I was evil and then walking away.
